Religulous Trailer

I am definitely going to see this flick:

OK...SEEN IT...

Me and some other skeptics viewed this movie at the Little on Friday night (the first showing). It wasn't bad, just not a whole lot to discuss about it. The one thing I didn't like about it was that it relied too heavily on flashing to some visual imagery to be funny or to make the point. This was funny at various parts, but it seemed like ½ of the movie were these imagery flashes that occurred during the Mahr discussions with theists (so was overkill IMO). For me that seemed to take away from much of the substance. Mahr did do a good job at stumping a number of religious people throughout the movie, and to me those were the best scenes. It was a good movie for the moderate theist as it doesn’t make them have to think too much to understand these more simplistic points (and as we all know…people do not want to have to think too much).

It's now showing at the Little Theatre...

Who wants to go see it together?

So, so funny.

Finally

Me too! I wonder if it will make more money than "Expelled." Either way, it will be rather revealing. Are there more nonbelievers than we think? Mahar's movie could be a good yardstick.

Trailer

I have never been a fan of Mahar, but this movie seems great. Maybe I'll have to revisit my views on him. I love that the trailer had a brief clip of the farting preacher!
